Privacy Policy
Effective date:
This policy explains what information is collected when you use Kitsaku (kitsaku.com), who receives it, and the choices you have.
Who runs Kitsaku
Kitsaku is made by Yosua, an independent developer in Jakarta, Indonesia. Contact: hello@kitsaku.com.
What is collected
- What you type into the apps stays in your browser and isn't sent to Kitsaku. Some apps save your inputs in your browser so they're there next time; you can clear them with the app's reset button or your browser settings.
- Your theme choice (Light or Dark) is saved in your browser.
- Emails you send us: your address and message, used only to reply and handle your request.
- No user accounts. Kitsaku has no sign-up or log-in. If we add sign-up later, we'll update this policy before it goes live.
Ads and analytics are covered below.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Kitsaku shows ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this site and to other sites on the internet. Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners show you ads based on your visits to Kitsaku and other sites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising:
- from Google, in Google's Ads Settings;
- from other participating vendors, at aboutads.info.
You'll still see ads, but they won't be based on your browsing. Read more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics
Kitsaku uses Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages and apps are opened, where visitors come from, browser and device type, approximate location from the IP address, and which links are clicked, including affiliate links. We use this to see which apps people use, fix problems and measure what each app earns, not to find out who you are.
Google Analytics uses cookies; you can block it with Google's opt-out add-on. Cloudflare Web Analytics doesn't use cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links, each labelled "Affiliate link". If you click one, the partner may set its own cookies to record that you came from Kitsaku, and its own privacy policy applies on its site. See Affiliate links in the Terms of Use.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. On Kitsaku they're set by:
- Google and its advertising partners, to show and measure ads (see Advertising);
- Google Analytics, to count visits (see Analytics);
- affiliate partners, on their own sites after you click an affiliate link.
Kitsaku itself sets no cookies; it only saves your theme and app settings in your browser, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The apps still work if you do.
Processing outside Indonesia
Google and Cloudflare run their services worldwide, so data they collect through Kitsaku may be processed outside Indonesia, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw your consent. Email hello@kitsaku.com to use these rights.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with data changes, we'll update this page first and change the effective date at the top.
